using just the E and B strings
to compose lead guitar lines
in the same Scale Position usually
The ‘Box Pentatonic’ Scale Diagram for a piece commencing with an A Minor chord.
Use only the name of the first chord of a piece of music to:
locate the Scale Position of the Box Pentatonic Scale, that has the four most important Notes
the scale only requires a slight modification for any ‘special’ Major chords during the piece
More of the scale is then discovered by adding one Note by ear to each string on frets inside the ‘Box Pentatonic’ Scale to become a ‘Box Mode’ (not a complete Mode).
